About Our Chapter
Mancunium Chapter members come from all over Greater Manchester; Lancashire; North Cheshire; Staffordshire; Derbyshire, a couple of refugees from Hull and some Southerners who headed north, and for some reason, never wanted to leave! So, you can see, we’re a friendly bunch of misfits !!
We organise a wide range of social activities and have a comprehensive calendar of ride-outs for Harley owners of all ages and experiences. The Mancunium Chapter is a large Harley Owners Group in the North West of England with over 100 members. This site is run to enable members and guests to contact us and, to inform you, of the latest news and events concerning the Chapter; H.O.G. and Harley news in general.
The Chapter is holding a Pie Night & Get Together at the Veteran’s Garage, Barton Aerodrome from 7:00pm onwards. Pie, chips and peas for £5 and all money raised will go to the North West Air Ambulance and Veteran’s Garage charities. Please do you best to support this event.

Around 12 months ago, a number of our members attended a Biker Down course put on by Cheshire Fire & Rescue. I’m sure that all those who attended would agree that the content and quality of the course was excellent.
Biker Down is a course aimed at motorcyclists of all ages and experience. The free course offers people the chance to learn practical skills to help avoid being involved in a crash, as well as essential first-aid training and advice on what to do should they find themselves first on the scene of a crash where someone is injured. If you were the first on the scene of an accident involving a biker, would you know what to do? Would you know who is most at risk, how to protect the area or whether you should remove the helmet of a downed rider? Actions taken in the first few moments after an accident can be crucial in minimising injuries and can make a real difference to the lives of those involved.
In addition to essential first aid training, the course provides information on initial scene management, how to get the best out of riding your bike and the Science of Being Seen.
Further information can be found at https://www.cheshirefire.gov.uk/public-safety/road-safety/biker-down
The course is being held on Sunday 10 March 2019 at Cheshire Fire & Rescue Safety Central, Cliff Lane, Lymm, WA13 0TE, (opposite Lymm Poplar 2000 Services) from 12:00pm until 4:00pm.
THIS IS A FREE COURSE AND ATTENDING COULD LITERALLY SAVE LIVES!
Can anyone wishing to attend please contact our Safety Officer, Richard Kinsey at firstname.lastname@example.org
